The Alignment Method

Where scattered thoughts find rhythm and rest

Lead by Hannah & Holly

As the Principal of HMC School of Dance and the Owner of No Write Answer, Hannah and Holly are passionate about making movement feel inclusive, supportive, and human. While dance isn’t for everyone, caring for your body is. Shaped by years of friendship and conversations around wellbeing, our collaboration comes from a shared belief in movement as a tool for connection, confidence, and self-care.

Coming to you from No Write Answer x HMC School of Dance, The Alignment Method is a fun, inclusive mindful movement exercise class welcome to all.

Each class is made up of stretching and strengthening of both the mind and body using principles of yoga, progressive ballet technique, and guided meditation.

No experience is required in any of these components. We just want a safe space for all to enjoy, where rest, rejuvenation and realignment is found.

Holly and Hannah are two complete yappers and love to move their bodies in a way that makes them feel flexible, strong and confident. Difficulty levels vary based on what you feel comfortable with in the moment!

Come into class knowing you will be leaving with a smile, and a step in your stride that says to the world "yeah! I've got this!"

In each class you can expect:

About Hannah

Energetic, Motivator, Easy-Going

Hannah is a TDSC and PBT qualified dance teacher with 8 years teaching experience. Hannah teaches students of all ages (from 4 to 94!), and loves to help women feel more confident in their bodies and minds through dance. Teaching both beginner and advanced level dancers, Hannah loves pushing her dancers to achieve more than they thought possible.

Hannah’s teaching journey started at Arabesque School of Dance, Rugby as a teaching assistant, helping students through their RAD examinations and BDTA medal awards. Throughout her time at the University of Lincoln, Hannah taught Jazz to all experience levels, bringing home trophies from across the country whilst representing the University. She also was the President of the Dance Society 2022/23.

Since graduating, Hannah has established HMC School of Dance, and continues to share her strong technical foundations and love for performing both in her private classes and freelance work.

Hannah is a proud cat mum and loves a crafty evening (hello rhinestoned dance costumes!). She loves a good book and will never say no to a cheeky glass of wine.

About Holly

Yapper & Community Cheerleader

With over ten years experience in performing and teaching dance, Holly loves to use movement to regulate her busy mind, and emotions - using her own experiences of this to help support folk who find movement as a form of therapy.

Holly spent six years in her previous dance school assisting in the teaching of IDTA Examinations, taking part in a Britain’s Got Talent audition, and performing at venues including Sadler’s Wells, a tour of Dirty Dancing, and twice at Disneyland Paris.

Holly also spent a number of years working, and learning with Damien Anyasi, London Olympic Games Choreographer, and award winning dancer. Through her time with him, she learnt the power of movement, self-expression, and being in-touch with your body.

During her time at University, Holly spent two years as the Dance Societies Limbering Teaching, leading classes on flexibility, mobility, and strengthening; preventing injury and enhancing both technique and performance.

Now, Holly uses principles of yoga, dynamic stretches and mindful movement to support flexibility training and general wellbeing - grounding the mind and body to help individuals find a strong connection between the two.

Fellow cat mum, furniture upcycle-er, and complete sucker for a 90's rom-com, Holly spends her free time talking someone's ear-off and rearranging her living space (for the third time this week!).
