SCRIBBLE AND STILLNESS
In Collaboration with the Mindful Mug
As children we are hushed when we cry, leading us as adults to be unsure of what emotions we are actually feeling. This leaves us unknowing of how to process emotions - hence why something that may have happened 10 years ago is still bothering you.
As we grow, we talk and rant to our friends, partners, and parents about why something at work, or home, is causing you aggravation. We go over the same conversation time and time again; especially when new information comes to light. However, after you become selfconcious of how much you are talking about something. You can feel judged, or pick up on the fact the other person does not want to talk about it again.
You feel stagnant, judged, 'dramatic.' But your feelings are there, and they are valid.
Scribble and Stillness is a space for you to delve into these emotions, in a safe and non-judgmental space. Writing everything out that has built up over the past week, and giving space to it, allows you to untether yourself from the anxiety, stress, and sadness that encompasses it.
Scribble and Stillness is more than a group. It is an opportunity for emotional growth, enhanced wellness, friendship, support, love, and acceptance. You can find healing within the walls of The Mindful Mug. There is space for you to take up, unconstrained, and unconditionally.
